Hunting and Sports Ammunition Factory - T H A L I D A - in Chiajna, Ilfov County
Investment entirely designed by the INTERCONSTRUCT company and its subcontractors in 1994. The objective was developed and put into operation in 1995.
The objective, developed on an area of 14 800 sq.m., is situated in the Dambovita river flood plain, a difficult ground for foundation works. The complex consists of: two production halls of 1 850 sq.m. each, a storage building and an annex of 780 sq.m., storage bunkers for raw materials and final products, annexes, heating plant, transformer substation, water tank for fire extinguishing, water pumping station, drilled water well, used water tank, security building, surveillance towers, roads and platforms, networks within the premises (fresh water supply, water supply for fire extinguishing, waste water and rain water sewage, heating, electrical, telecommunications, fire and break-in warning systems, special networks). Special land consolidation, vertical systematization, protection against possible floods caused by the Dambovita river and against land sliding were required.
